The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has spent the winter season stocking waters across the state with trout fish.
In December, the TWRA began its annual winter trout stocking program, which involves stocking trout in local streams, rivers, and ponds.
As temperatures warm, dozens of locations across the state have been stocked with thousands of trout, marking the perfect time to cast a line!
The TWRA said the following local waters were stocked with trout this month:
· Cowan City Park – Franklin County
· Normandy Tailwater – Bedford County
· Grundy Lake #4 – Grundy County
