At 5:05 Friday morning, the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident on the Wattendorf Memorial Highway in Coffee County near the AEDC golf course.
A 2016 Ford Focus driven by Charles L. Watson, age 42, of Manchester, TN collided with a 2020 Nissan Versa driven by 25-year-old Trevor D. Reese. The THP report says that the Ford did not maintain its lane of traffic and struck the Nissan. Both drivers were tragically killed in the accident.
