Sandra Kay Kelley, age 71 of Decherd, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Sandra was born on August 7, 1953, in Franklin County, to the late Aubrey Lee “Scorpin” Kelley and Mary Louise (Keller) Durham. She was currently employed as a cashier at Walmart and in her spare time would watch Criminal Minds. Sandra was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping with her family, quilting, and most currently spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Meeks, Aubrey Mears Jr., Ann Powers, David Mears, and Eddie Mears. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years, Roy Kelley; son, Ray Conley; grandchildren, Kalyn (Michael) Taylor and Collen Ray Conley; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Baylie, Casion, Skylar, Waylon, and Rhenlie; siblings, Frances (Larry) Campbell and Patricia Merritt; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00am from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with Collen Conley, Jonathan Sells, Jason James, Ed Mears, Dewayne Campbell, Bud Kelley, and Dallas Mears all serving as pallbearers.
