Road Rage Sends Lincoln County Man to Jail

Between the dates of October 18 through October 21, there were several reports of road rage incidents in the southern part of Lincoln County. During the investigation of these incidents by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, it was found that James William Moore (45) of Lincoln County, Tennessee, has been arrested for these offenses. Moore was placed under arrest for two counts of Vandalism, two counts of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Disorderly Conduct and placed in the Lincoln County Jail; during the booking process, Moore was found to have contraband and received an additional charge of Introduction of Contraband in a Penal Facility. Moore received a total bond of $105,000 on these charges in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Moore may face additional charges in Lincoln County, Tennessee, as the investigation is ongoing.

It was also found that Moore was involved in a similar incident in Madison County, Alabama, and faces additional charges there.
