Jennifer Sue Pendergrass of Winchester, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at St. Thomas Midtown hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 65 years. A native of Franklin County, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late John Andy and Alver Viola Thompson Pendergrass. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Danny, Melvin, Larry and Jessie Pendergrass.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Church of Restoration located at 324 W. Cumberland Street in Cowan, Tennessee with Pastor Lester Ashley officiating. Burial will follow at Cowan-Montgomery cemetery in Cowan. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
Jennifer was a homemaker, and a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her church and was very involved there. The Church of Restoration and its members were her second family, and she had attended there for over 30 years.
Her survivors include her children, Jessie Wade Pendergrass of Winchester, Tennessee, Karen (Rocky) Sanders of Winchester, Tennessee, sister, Joann Stephens of Winchester, Tennessee, grandchildren, Kayla (Dewayne) Bishop, Karlee (Austin) Sanders, Jessie Pendergrass, and four great grandchildren, Genesis, Viola Rose, Arianna, and Hazel – Ann Sue.
Jennifer was also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was survived by two special sisters in Christ who she cherished, Sister Betty Ashley and Sister Doris Keller.
