Delores Jean Woodard of Estill Springs, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at NHC HealthCare in Tullahoma, Tennessee at the age of 78 years.
A native of Coffee County, she is the daughter of the late Hubert and Jessie Ruth Smith Eggleston. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Eggleston and sisters, Barbara Eggleston and Beverly Steele.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee with Brother Stephen Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Turkey Creek cemetery in Moore County. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 Am until the time of service.
Delores was a feisty person. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. Some would say she was living her best life always laughing, smiling and telling stories of her adventures, travels and life experiences. She enjoyed riding Harleys, camping and was the best caregiver, giving her time to her family and those she loved. Delores loved her dog, Dillon. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the glue that held her family together. A free spirit and a unique person. She was strong and brave and put up a great fight until the end. She was the center post of life and will be forever missed.
Her survivors include her children, David Wayne McPheron of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Christopher Bryan (Jaclynne) McPheron of Winchester, Tennessee, Donna (Randy) Davis of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Debra Jean McPheron of Tullahoma, Tennessee, brothers, Vincent (Jane) Eggleston of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Larry (Gail) Eggleston of Tullahoma, Tennessee, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
