Christopher Lane Munsey Sr., better known as “STUD,” of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 66 years. A native of Tullahoma, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Robert L. and Martha E. Champion Munsey. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Lane Munsey Jr., brother, Leon Munsey and sister, Patricia Saine.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with his brother, Pastor Bobby McBee officiating. Burial will follow at Head of Hurricane Cemetery in Moore County, Tennessee. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Christopher was known as “STUD” to all who knew and loved him. He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren who meant the world to him. He loved fast cars and was known to all as a jack of all trades. If he couldn’t fix it, it couldn’t be fixed, but he didn’t give up. He would just build a new one. “STUD” had a special place in his heart for his special family at the Tullahoma Waffle House. He enjoyed meeting there for breakfast and visiting with the staff and customers as often as he could.
His survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Davis of Tullahoma, Tennessee, friend and care provider, Ross Hatfield of Tullahoma, Tennessee, brothers, Jeff (Pat) Robinson, Bobby (Darlene) McBee, and Johnny (Sharon) Munsey all of Tullahoma, Tennessee, sisters, Debra Sue (Sherman) Steele of Winchester, Tennessee, Flora May Rollins of Normandy, Tennessee, grandchildren, Lauren Davis of Manchester, Tennessee, Brennan Davis of Tullahoma, Tennessee and two bonus grandchildren, Andrew and Mary Margaret Hatfield both of Tullahoma, Tennessee. “STUD” was also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews,
