BOBBIE GENE AUSTIN FISHER, age 81, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital. Mrs. Fisher was born in Union City, Tenn., on December 19, 1943, to the late Robert Wilson Austin and Wilma Frances Lafferty Austin. Mrs. Fisher was of the Baptist Faith. She was employed for many years at Binswanger Glass Company in Memphis in their data processing dept. when she retired. Her favorite past times were crocheting, knitting and watching old movies. She was always a "people person" and enjoyed visiting, talking and spending time with people. She simply adored her husband of 46 years and cherished their time together.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her beloved husband, Charlie Fisher of Estill Springs, step-daughter, Jennifer Shirley and husband, Chris of Montgomery, Texas, 3-grandchildren, Shelby Kelly and husband, Ronnie of Willis, Tx., Gerrit Kosters and wife, Maddy of Montgomery, Tx., Briana Fleming and husband, Clay of Magnolia, Tx., 5-great grandchildren, Aunt, Pat Ziegler and a cousin, Cindy Thompson both of Biloxi, Miss.
It was Mrs. Fisher's wishes that she be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
