Mary Jeraline Limbaugh, age 76 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at her residence with her beloved husband by her side. She was born in Hurdlow, Tennessee on November 11, 1948, to the late Jim Ed and Ester (Parks) Edde. Jeraline was employed for thirty-six years as an educator for the Franklin County School System, primarily at Broadview School. During her tenure, she was a classroom teacher as well as physical education teacher and created many friendships with those in the Broadview School Community. Jeraline always enjoyed sports, whether it was supporting the Rebelettes by cheering at games and chaperoning events or watching games on television with her husband. She enjoyed shopping and was an avid Lennox collector. But most of all, Jeraline, lovingly known as Memaw, cherished her beloved family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie Marie Mullins; siblings, Billy Edde, Parks Edde, Frances Reed, and Barbara Ann Baxter; and life-long friend, Teresa Laughlin. Jeraline is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty-four years, Jackie Limbaugh of Winchester; son, Zach and Hayley Limbaugh of Elora; daughter, Dawn and Mark Finney of Belvidere; sisters, Jane Burton of Lynchburg, Judy Prince of Winchester, Dimple Spencer of Belvidere, and Jimmie Lou Edde Sandlin of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Amber Limbaugh, Ethan and Holly Hall, Matthew and Hannah Finney, Addi-Kate Limbaugh, Jake Finney, and Cade Limbaugh; great-grandchildren, Brinley Limbaugh, Nix Hall, and Lennox Phipps; and many other extended family members, close friends, co-workers, and students. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
