MARK "ROOSTER" HOWARD ZIMMER of Pelham passed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at his residence at the age of 62. A native of Dunkirk, NY, he was the son of the late Samuel and Teresa Bauer Sam and the adopted son of the late Donald and Della June Hammond Zimmer.
"Rooster", as everyone called him, was a truck driver. He enjoyed rock collecting, painting and whittling. He loved his family and was a fun loving jokester.
In addition to his parents and adoptive parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Brewer Zimmer and brother-in-law, Joseph Garner.
Mr. Zimmer is survived by his children, Angel Mosley, Billy "BJ" Hoback, Mark "Lucky" Kirk and his spouse, Gabrial and Preston Ladd, all of Pelham; siblings, Robert Carpenter, Peggy Carpenter Sutter, Judith Zimmer Rowe, Paul Zimmer, Penny Carpenter Till, Suzette Zimmer Smith, Samantha Sam Way and Aimee Zimmer Bajeo; grandchildren, Paul and Douglas Justice and Destiny, Anna and Stacy Mosley; great granddaughter, Kennedy Justice; sister-in-laws, Anna Myers and her husband, Tommy and Rose Ladd Hubbard and her husband, Sterling; brother-in-laws, Paul and Mark Garner, John Garner and his wife, Denise, Danny Garner and his wife, Annette, Billy Garner, Roger Garner and his wife, Jeanette and David Garner and his wife, Brenda and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services are scheduled for Thursday, February 20 at 12 PM at Grant Funeral Services. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the service time.
