JOAN MARIE BISHOP, age 75, of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Ms. Bishop was born in Michigan to the late Aaron William Bishop and Roberta Pauline Smith Bishop on September 26, 1949. She was a lifetime member of the Owl Hollow Church of Christ in Winchester. Ms. Bishop was a graduate of Franklin County High School in Winchester. She then went on to receive her LPN in Nursing a profession she was proud to be a part of. She was last employed for approximately 15 years with Elk Valley Health Services in Nashville, Tenn. She was known to be an avid shopper and her favorite thing to do in her leisure time was to watch the Golden Girls on T.V. She was especially fond of watching old black and white movies. Ms. Bishop will be remembered as a Godly woman that loved her Lord and her family.
She is survived by her son, Scottie Morrison and wife, Sissy, Grandchildren, Madison Morrison and Tiffany Ray, Great-grandchildren, Mason Ray and Amillia Whaley all of Belvidere.
Visitation for Ms. Bishop is scheduled for 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 19, following the visitation with Bro. Walter Rayburn, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Winchester Memorial Park with Charlie Edwards, Derrick Crawford, Steve Macon, Jordan Barecky, Dan Williams and Johnny Bruce serving as pallbearers.
