August 9, 1967 - February 9, 2025
JIM "COSMO" CROCKER, age 57, of McMinnville, formerly of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness. Mr. Crocker was born in Decherd, Tenn., to the late Farrell Crocker and Betty Frances Owens Crocker on August 9, 1967. Mr. Crocker was of the Baptist Faith. He was disabled for many years and before becoming disabled he was a laborer for the Tullahoma Utility Company and then moved to Florida and worked odd jobs there before returning to Tennessee. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers football fan. Mr. Crocker loved making people laugh and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all of his family and friends especially the ones that knew him as "Cosmo".
In addition to his parents, Mr. Crocker was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Emma Owens, sister, Carlene Pelham and brother, Steve Edwards.
He is survived by his former wife and significant other, Lula Dale of McMinnville, Tenn., children: Whitney Crocker of McMinnville, Nikki Crocker of Winchester, Tenn., and Tabitha Crocker of Tullahoma and a sister, Lisa Gibb and husband, Greg of Winchester, Tenn.
Visitation for Mr. Crocker is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 13, 2025, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 13, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Interment will follow in the Owens Chapel Cemetery in Winchester.
