August 27, 1954 - February 19, 2025
Gloria Taylor was born on August 27, 1954, to the late Annie Ola and J.B. Taylor. She went home on February 19, 2025. She was preceded in death by brothers, Floyd and J.B. “Skip” Taylor Jr; nephew, Stacy Taylor; and niece, Waytana Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving children, Kathy “Kat-Tail” Taylor, and Darrell (Kesha) Taylor; grandson, Xzayvion Taylor; brothers, Wallace and Randy Taylor; and sister, Frances Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchild. Gloria was an avid sports fan and loved to talk smack about the Titans. In her pastime, she enjoyed cooking and often shared this gift with others. She also enjoyed puzzles - crosswords, word search and jigsaw puzzles.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 2025, between the hours of 1 pm to 2 pm at Watson Funeral Home with the funeral service following afterward.
Interment will be at Watson Memorial Park.
