GARY GORDON REYNOLDS, age 73, of Winchester, Tenn., a native of Huntland, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Reynolds was born in Winchester, Tenn., on December 28, 1950, to the late Alvin and Maybelle Haney Reynolds. He was a graduate of Huntland High School. He was a member of the Huntland First Baptist Church. At the age of 20 Mr. Reynolds was drafted into the U.S. Army and served his country during the Vietnam war for approximately two years. He was a carpenter by trade for many years before his retirement. Mr. Reynolds favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting. He was a friend to all of his neighbors and always willing to help out when a need arose. He will be greatly missed by his friends and neighbors and especially his family that he cared for and loved.Â
He is survived by his sons: Austin Wade Reynolds and wife, Tat of Yorktown, Virginia, Gary Wayne Reynolds and wife, Nicole of Manchester, Tenn., and daughter, Patricia Reynolds of Huntland, Tenn. 3-grandchildren; Bella, Sophia and Alex Reynolds. Sister, Debbie Gamble and husband, Bobby of Huntland, brothers: Brian, Bruce and Ronald Reynolds all of Huntland.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Moore Memorial Cemetery in Huntland with Bro. Mike Robertson officiating, where he will be laid to rest beside his parents.Â
