Garry Randall Sanson, age 74 of Chattanooga formerly of Franklin County, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was born on November 14, 1951, in Winchester to the late Raymond Sanson and Mary Sue Craig Sanson. Garry retired from Tinsley’s Asphalt where he was a foremen and grader operator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ronald, Tim, and Tammy Kay. Garry is survived by his son, Joey Sanson; daughter, Lisa Potter; several grandchildren; brothers, Stanley, Dale and Doug; sisters, Clemmie, Kay, and Lucy; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 6:00pm with Bro. Don Parker officiating. Interment will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 1:00pm eastern time at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
