According to officials, a two-vehicle fatal accident took place on Monday afternoon around 12:30 in Franklin County. The crash occurred on Hwy 64 at Belvidere Road near Trolley Rock.
One of the vehicles was driven by a female who was uninjured, but the male driver of the other vehicle died because of the injuries he received.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has not released names. On Tuesday afternoon, they told 931 News that the accident remains under investigation and that no other information is being released at this time.
