According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, a crash involving two dump trucks closed a road in Bedford County on Friday. The THP has not released an injury report, but other online information indicates two fatalities.
TDOT said the crash happened on State Route 437 near Philippi Road. Crews worked for a few hours to clean gravel that had spilled during the crash.
Diversions were installed on SR 437 southbound at Philippi Road and SR 437 northbound at Railroad Avenue.
