Deer Harvest Up in Tennessee

The deer hunting season in Tennessee officially concluded on Sunday, marking the end of a successful period for hunters across the state. According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency's Hunter's Toolbox, this year's deer harvest is set to surpass last year's totals.

As of 6:30 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, Tennessee hunters have reported a total of 166,060 deer harvested since the season opened in August 2024. This figure encompasses all wildlife management areas and open county hunting.

In comparison, the previous 2023-2024 deer hunting season saw hunters take 152,865 deer, indicating a significant increase in this year's harvest.
