A Coffee County correctional officer, Michael Aaron Murphy, has been arrested for felony unlawful photography. He allegedly took pictures of two underage girls at Planet Fitness in McMinnville and posted them online with inappropriate comments. The incident occurred on Friday, March 7, at Northgate Shopping Center.
McMinnville Police Detective Chris McCormick filed charges against Murphy. The Coffee County Sheriff’s office is awaiting the MPD's investigation results. They emphasized their commitment to high standards of conduct and public safety.
