September 22, 1963 - February 2, 2025

CHARLES LEWIS "LULU" MORRIS, age 61, of Manchester, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the home of his brother in Manchester, Tenn., losing his brief battle with cancer. Mr. Morris was born in Manchester, Tenn., to the late Charles Edward Morris and Nancy Faye Spry Morris and was very fortunate to have a second mother he loved dearly, Audrey Ella Morris. Mr. Morris was a member of the Canvas Community Church in Manchester. He was a 1981 graduate of Coffee County High School. Mr. Morris was a self-employed carpenter all of his life. He enjoyed fishing and especially anything to do with the outdoors. He was very talented in woodworking and was a "jack of all trades and master of none" as he referred to himself. He loved his family dearly and was a known prankster who enjoyed playing tricks on all of them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Rollins, nieces, Monica Rollins and Brooke Chandler, and nephews, Jeffery Chandler and Aaron Morris. He is survived by his daughter, Cassie Simmons of Christiana, Tenn., siblings; Johnny (Tina) Morris, Teresa Chandler (Juan Cruz) all of Manchester, Randall (Tammy) Rollins of Tullahoma, Tim Morris of Manchester, 2-granddaughters; Davanie and Harper. Several Aunts, Uncles Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Morris will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, February 5, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 6, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Harrel Cude and Bro. Bobby Watkins, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma with family serving as pallbearers.
