931News has learned through Radio Insight that three radio stations with studios in Tullahoma are in the process of being sold. 93.9 The Duck, Rooster 101.5, and Whiskey Country 105.1 & 95.9, owned by Peter Bowman/Bowman Broadcasting, are being sold to Josh and Holly Peterson, who own Coffee County Broadcasting. The selling price is $920,000.
Coffee County Broadcasting, which owns News/Talk “Thunder Radio” 1320 WMSR/107.9 W300BL Manchester and 106.7 W294CV Tullahoma, pending FCC approval will acquire Classic Rock “93.9 The Duck” WDUC Lynchburg, Hot AC “The Rooster 101.5” WFTZ Manchester, and Country “Whiskey Country 95.9/105.1” 740 WHMT/105.1 W286BG Tullahoma and 95.9 W240EF Shelbyville.
